KICKIN’ IT OFF!
Hi guys!
Starting off small with my first post :)
It’s hard, being less than three weeks out from school starting and knowing next to nothing on what virtual learning will look like this fall. I am sure many of you are in the same boat, whether a parent, teacher, student, or a combination thereof. Since we can’t quite start preparing yet, the best way I have found to deal with the stress of not knowing (because there is a lot of it) is finding something fun to do to keep busy! I have definitely kept myself busy preparing to launch this blog (hope you all like it)!
I propagated some succulents the other day
(aren't they so adorable?!).
At home we started making candles with the milk from our goats!
Soy and goat milk candle-Blueberry and Thyme scented
(my sister sells products she makes at home with the goat’s milk for a business-more on that to come in another post)
I've also been trying to work out more consistently-I plan to create a daily workout schedule once we are given our teacher workday schedule this way I hold myself more accountable for my workouts! A consistent schedule always helps with accountability
(disclaimer: this is harder than it looks-single leg squat on a moving platform!).

I plan to set some goals as well for myself to work toward this fall. I find that I work harder and feel more motivated with anything I do when I have attainable goals in mind.
Whatever it is you might enjoy, I say do it! The stress right now coming from the unknown is something we cannot change. Don’t dwell on what you have no control over, it’s not worth it (I’ve definitely learned that the hard way). Stay tuned for some more ideas to come on keeping busy and suggestions for outlets/stress release ideas! What do you like to do to keep busy? What do you plan on trying in order to keep your mind occupied or release some stress? Comment below, I'd love to hear!
SPECIAL ALERT: Teachers- This week (August 10th-14th) stop by Krispy Kreme with your school I.D. to get one free original glazed doughnut and a regular sized drip coffee!
